During the past week, 72 international students from22 different countries come to BJUT, began their life of “Study abroad in BJUT”with their strong enthusiasm. Recent years, the plan of “Study abroad in BJUT”has been implemented, dedicating a lot of work to building a platform to enroll international students abroad, and more stable overseas student bases. Compared with the past year, Greece, Lithuania and Philippines are added into the listthis year, and students from Europe, America, South Korea and Japan are account for 80% of the whole freshman at school, and the number of the country involvedis up to 81.They are supposed to learn CLT at College of International Education, to learn CCBC at College of Economics and Management and to learn EPIC at College of Environment and Energy Engineering and Facility of Information Technology

Staff in College of International Education made the detailed arrangement for freshman orientation. Airport pickup and registerenrollment services are involved to provide a better and convenient one-stopservice for students. Besides, a series of orientation including a tour incampus, a visit in school history museum, an introduction about programs, awelcome ceremony and lectures on security show the caring from university and strong cultural atmosphere in campus.

As the new semester began, more and more international students choose to study in BJUT. We will keep making progress in education for international students, building campus life supporting system, providing a better environment for study and life, continuously raising the level of education internationalization.
